This is a Grade C coastal walk in County Donegal.
Distance 5 to 6 miles taking about 3.5 hrs
This beautiful linear walk follows the shores of Lough Foyle starting in Moville along a mostly level path taking in the beach and for a short distance along the road into Greencastle .
Leaving Omagh Leisure Centre car park 9:30, take A5 to Derry, continue through Derry heading out Culmore Rd (A2) through Muff on R238 to Moville.
Go up Main St Moville , at traffic lights turn right down to car park beside play park.
Toilet facilities available.
About our walks
Walks take place on alternate Saturdays and Sundays. Departing from Omagh Leisure Centre Car Park 9.30am where car sharing can be arranged.
Grade B - walks can involve ascending and descending on rough, wet ground with no defined paths. Suitable for walkers with a good level of fitness.
Grade C - walks are mainly on roads, paths or tracks. Suitable for most reasonably fit adults.
