This weeks walk is approximately 12 kms in length along paths so walking shoes/trainers can be worn and of course bring poles if normally used.
We'll leave Omagh Leisure centre at 09:30 and travel to Derry across the Craigavon bridge, continue along the Strand Road and past Sainsburys and at the roundabout keep left and follow signs for Buncrana.
At the roundabout at Buncrana keep left past the Inishowen Gateway Hotel continue on until a sign on left to Shore Road Front.
Park in carpark at toilets and walk begins here.
About our walks
Walks take place on alternate Saturdays and Sundays. Departing from Omagh Leisure Centre Car Park 9.30am where car sharing can be arranged.
Grade B - walks can involve ascending and descending on rough, wet ground with no defined paths. Suitable for walkers with a good level of fitness.
Grade C - walks are mainly on roads, paths or tracks. Suitable for most reasonably fit adults.
